Terms of use
Updated 2 November 2026
Money Magnet is a personal budgeting tool. By using it you agree to these terms. They're short, so please read them.
What the app is, and isn't
It helps you plan and track your own money. It is not a bank: it never holds, moves or pays money. It is not financial, tax or investment advice.
Your account
- One person per account, with an email you can get into.
- You need to be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's OK.
- Keep your password to yourself. What's done with your login counts as done by you.
Your information is yours
You own what you put in. It's used only to run the app for you, as the privacy notice explains, and you can download it or delete it at any time.
The numbers
Balances and totals are only as accurate as what's logged, so check them against your bank before relying on them. The app is provided as it is: it can have mistakes or be unavailable at times. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from decisions made using it.
Sharing a card
When you share or borrow a card, the app keeps a tally of who owes what. Paying back is between the two of you; the app doesn't collect or enforce it.
Fair use
Don't try to reach other people's information, overload or break the app, or use it for anything illegal. Accounts that do may be closed.
Cost
The app is free. If paid features come later, you'll be told before anything costs money.
Stopping
You can stop using the app whenever you like, and delete your account and everything in it from Settings.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app tells you and asks you to agree again. These terms follow Philippine law.
